Truck Accident on I-35 Near Lorena Stalls Traffic, One Injured

A truck accident on northbound I-35 near Lorena at mile marker 323, involving at least two 18 wheelers and as many as four passenger vehicles sent at least one person to the hospital with injuries on Thursday, officials reported.

According to a report published by KWTX News, one of the semi trucks was hauling stone. The other big rig was pulling a trailer used for hauling cars.

Police said the accident occurred at approximately 9:15 a.m., shutting down northbound I-35 for a three mile long stretch of interstate.

One of the passenger vehicles pictured among news sources appeared to be a gray Honda sedan and a red vehicle. No word regarding what may have caused the multi-vehicle collision has yet been released, nor have police identified any of the drivers or passengers involved in the truck wreck on I-35.
