New information is emerging regarding a deadly car accident in North Texas, which left three people dead last week after being submerged in a Las Colinas canal, officials said.

The victims were recently identified as Ronald Eddins, 41, of Southlake, Kenneth Lark, 23, of Austin and Kaat Debeuckelaer, 21, of Colleyville.

According to police, the three were last seen at a bar at the Hilton Southlake, before the Porche, driven by Eddins, lost control while traveling at high speeds. The Porche crashed down a nearby embankment, smashed into a concrete guardrail and into the canal.

Debeuckelaer was in the passenger seat of the vehicle. Lark was sitting in the back seat, officials reported. An autopsy released, regarding Debeuckelaer noted blunt-force trauma sparked by the single vehicle accident, as the cause of her death.

Eddins was a prominent attorney that was best known for mesothelioma and asbestos lawsuits that resulted in multi-million dollar settlements.

Autopsies are still being completed for Eddins and Lark, police said. Investigations, regarding the cause and details surrounding the accident, are still underway.
