Two Injured in 18 Wheeler Accident Near Leesville, Texas

Two people were injured in an 18 Wheeler truck accident near Leesville, Texas, Department of Public Safety Officials said.
According to police, both of the injured women we transported to University Hospital via Life Flight after the vehicle they attempted to slow behind them, jackknifing and clipping their SUV and provoking a rollover accident.
An 18 -year-old female was ejected during the rollover accident.
Thirty-nine-year-old Melissa Munoz was the driver of the 1999 Mercury Mountaineer that rolled over as a result of the truck driver’s inattention.
The driver of the 1997 Kenworth 18 wheeler was identified by authorities as Ronald Hensley, a resident of Penelope, Texas. He was cited by police for failure to control his speed, reports note.
While the accident remains under investigation, the injured parties have since been reportedly released from the hospital.
