Two Injured in Fiery 18 Wheeler Accident in San Antonio on SE Loop 410
An 18 wheeler accident involving an SUV sent two people to the hospital on Monday evening when the SUV slid beneath the big rig, which drug the passenger vehicle before flipping off a nearby bridge. Both vehicles caught fire as a result of the collision.
The SUV involved in the San Antonio accident on SE Loop 410 was identified as a Dodge Durango, officials reported.
The driver of the 18 wheeler was transported to San Antonio Military Medical Center for the treatment of injuries he sustained in the wreck. The driver of the Dodge Durango was transported to a different local hospital. No update on their conditions was provided at the time of the report.
Authorities were forced to close down Loop 410 in order to clean up debris and fuel that was spilled in the San Antonio truck crash.
