Two Injured in Waco Motorcycle Accident

Two Waco residents were injured in a motorcycle accident involving a vehicle, Monday afternoon.

Fifty-three-year-old Gerald Renfro and 50-year-old Kimberly O’Connell, were injured when their motorcycle was struck by A Buick Century on Herring Ave.

Authorities reported that an 85-year-old, unidentified woman was driving the Buick that struck the pair. She was not injured in the accident.

According to police, the Buick’s driver pulled out from a stop sign in the pathway of the motorcycle.

O’Connell was taken to Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center and was later transported via helicopter to Scott & White Hospital in Temple with serious injuries.

Renfro was transported to Hillcrest as well.
