Loop 340 Crash Injures Both Drivers

A Waco truck accident between two vehicles and an 18 wheeler truck hauling chickens sent two people to the hospital on Friday morning, police said.

The passenger vehicle, an 18 wheeler and semi-truck were all involved in the Waco collision on Loop 340. Two of the drivers involved were transported to the hospital with injuries resulting from the semi-truck accident in Waco.

According to officials, the truck wreck on Loop 340 occurred at approximately 4:30 a.m. at the intersection near Orchard Lane.

Police believe one of the vehicles failed to yield the right of way, sparking the Waco traffic accident. As a result, some of the chickens being hauled by the big rig spilled into the roadway, sparking officials to move traffic around the intersection while the scene was cleared.

Authorities have not yet revealed the identities of those involved or injured in the collision, nor an update on their conditions.
