A construction accident in College Station sent two construction workers to the hospital with injuries when they fell from the scaffolding of a building development they were working on near the Texas A&M Campus, Tuesday afternoon.
The construction accident occurred on University Drive near Texas Avenue.
Although authorities have not yet identified the two workers, police reported that both men, from Dallas, were transported to College Station Medical Center and St. Joseph Hospital. One was identified as a 33-year-old man and the other injured victim was identified as a 35-year-old man.
The company overseeing the project was identified by police as Construction Enterprises, Incorporated, though the men were subcontractors with another company, representatives from Construction Enterprises told KBTX News.
OSHA was investigating the incident further and both men were reportedly released from the hospital after receiving treatment for their injuries, which were non-life threatening.
