Utility Truck Rollover on Texas 153 Claims Driver’s Life

A rollover accident in Central Texas claimed the life of a Lubbock man Thursday morning, when the delivery truck he was driving overturned after he lost control of the vehicle after the tire blewout.

Officials with the Texas Department of Public Safety said Carl Wayne Sedberry, 27, was traveling on Texas 153 near FM 2111 when he was unable to make a turn in the road and lost control of the delivery truck.

Although Sedberry was wearing a seatbelt, police pronounced him dead at the scene of the rollover accident on Highway 153.

Authorities did not reveal what company Sedberry was working for while driving the delivery truck. Police said weather conditions were foggy at the time of the rollover accident in Central Texas.
