Pedestrians and drivers alike have a responsibility to protect themselves and one another from the serious injuries tied to pedestrian and cycling accidents. Bright clothing is just one aspect that can help make pedestrians more visible to drivers, especially during darker periods of the mornings and evenings. In addition, distracted driving can often play a serious role in pedestrian crashes with drivers taking their eyes off the road for even mere seconds.
