Waco House Fire Kills Three, Injures Four More

A mother and two children were killed in a Waco house fire Thursday evening, when their mobile home caught fire. One other child was injured and transported to a Dallas hospital burn unit.
Authorities are still unsure what may have caused the house fire in Waco and investigations are still underway.
According to reports a neighbor tried to help the family escape the blaze, but was only successful aiding one child, through a window in the mobile home.
Police have not yet released the names of the house fire victims.
In addition to the fatalities and the injured child, three firefighters experienced serious second-degree burns as a result of rescue efforts. The firefighters who were injured were treated and released, the fire department officials said.
