As many as 77 percent of people injured in large truck accidents are the passengers or drivers of passenger vehicles, highlighting the dangerous aspect of large trucks filling our roads and the hazard associated with their sheer size and weight. But while safe, properly trained and attentive truck drivers can maintain a safe driving environment on interstates, highways and bus roads, drivers who do not receive adequate training can quickly transform their vehicles into serious hazards.
