After a rollover accident, especially when a driver may have lost control, victims of such a car accident sometimes have a tendency to blame themselves or wonder what they could have done differently. But sometimes, there are variables in an accident that drivers and passengers have no control over.

During a rollover crash, a vehicle should be properly designed to withhold and actually protect the occupants of a vehicle from the impact as the car overturns. The pillars of the roof should withstand the weight and impact of the accident without crushing or depleting the protective space between the roof and the occupant’s head. Instead, some, defectively manufactured vehicles merely meet the minimum safety requirements instead of looking out for the protection of consumers, drivers and passengers in a car, truck or SUV.
