Wolfforth Woman Killed in Rollover Accident on FM 179

A rollover accident on FM 179, in Lynn County, claimed the life of a 55-year-old passenger and seriously injured the SUV’s driver on Sunday, officials revealed.

Police identified the female passenger who was killed in the single-vehicle crash as Wolfforth resident Anita Gonzales, 55. Gonzales was pronounced dead at the scene of the rollover accident on near FM 2053.

The driver of the vehicle, who experienced injuries resulting from the crash, was identified as 52-year-old Valentin Paiz.

Both Paiz and Gonzales were wearing seatbelts at the time of the single vehicle accident.

According to a report published by MyFoxLubbock, Paiz was most recently listed in stable condition.
