Woman Killed in North Austin Car Accident on US 183

An auto accident in North Austin claimed the life of a 31-year-old woman when a driver failed to yield the right of way, driving through a red light and provoking the fatal crash.

The woman who was killed in the Austin car accident was identified as 31-year-old Diana Marie Juarez.

Two children were passengers in Juarez’s vehicle at the time of the collision on U.S. 183 near South Lakeline Boulevard. The children are expected to recover from the injuries they sustained in the auto accident.

Juarez was a passenger in the Dodge Neon that was struck by the pickup truck, who’s driver had run the red light.

The pickup truck involved in the crash was identified as a Chevrolet Silverado. The driver of the pickup did not endure injuries as a result of the wreck.
