Wrong-Way Car Accident in Conroe Claim Life of Two Teens on I-45
A wrong-way accident in Conroe claimed the lives of two people early Friday morning when the driver of a pickup truck entered I-45, traveling the wrong direction, police said.
Police were attempting to stop the driver of the pickup truck but were not able to get the driver’s attention before the pickup slammed into a vehicle occupied by three teenagers.
At least two people were killed in the wrong way accident, but police have not revealed the identities of those involved in the collision. The driver of the passenger car that was struck by the Conroe wrong way driver and the front passenger of the vehicle were both pronounced dead at the scene, police revealed. The backseat passenger in the vehicle was transported to the hospital with injuries resulting from the wreck.
Police are still investigating the car accident on I-45 and have not yet revealed if alcohol was a factor in the collision.
