Michael is a dedicated Baytown personal injury trial attorney with experience in Florida and Texas, passionate about securing fair compensation for clients harmed by negligence. With a background in insurance defense and extensive trial experience, Michael employs strategic litigation and zealous advocacy to help clients navigate their most challenging times.

Michael was born in Newark, New Jersey, and grew up in South Florida. After earning a bachelor’s degree in English Literature from Florida Atlantic University, he obtained a Law Degree from St. Thomas University School of Law (Miami). During Law School, Michael was an active Member of the Mock Trial team, and the Moot Court team, and was an elected member of the Honor Council. Additionally, he served as an intern for the “Honorable” David M. Gersten, former Chief Judge of Florida’s Third District Court of Appeal.
Before joining the Carlson Law Firm, Michael volunteered at the State Attorney’s Office for the 15th Circuit in Palm Beach, FL. Later, Michael worked as an attorney at the Office of Criminal Conflict & Civil Regional Counsel for about 11 years, during which he handled various cases as court-appointed counsel for indigent clients. His cases included civil substance abuse (Marchman Act), probate, juvenile delinquency, and criminal charges, with an emphasis on representing parents in child welfare cases. During that time, he gained experience negotiating numerous cases at mediations, arguing motions, and trying dozens of trials.
After leaving his public sector job, Michael worked at a large South Eastern regional Insurance defense firm in Florida, where through his work, he gained an in-depth understanding of the ins-and-outs of insurance claim processes. He is now glad to ethically use this knowledge to the advantage of those who have been hurt as they traverse their worst moments. He is licensed to practice in the State of Florida and Texas.
Michael’s deep-rooted sense of Justice drives him to work passionately to acquire fair compensation for his clients. He finds tremendous satisfaction in acquiring favorable resolutions on behalf of his clients and assisting to make them as whole as possible. He aims to do this through strategic litigation and zealous advocacy.
In his spare time, Michael enjoys spending time with his wife, singing for his church choir, and participating in community outreach programs in his local community.
