Social Media Coordinator

The Carlson Law Firm is a progressive and growing firm, primarily focused on helping people who have been hurt through no fault of their own. With 20 offices nationwide, we are one of the largest personal injury firms in Texas. We’re looking for a creative, organized, and self-motivated person who brings both skill and kindness to the table. The ideal candidate is not only experienced in creating engaging social media content but also contributes positively to team culture through respectful communication and a collaborative mindset.

The Social Media Coordinator is primarily responsible for developing and executing content strategies across all social platforms, producing multimedia assets, managing engagement and optimizing performance in alignment with the firm’s brand and campaigns.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, schedule and publish social media content across all firm channels, ensuring alignment with current campaigns, community events and brand standards
  • Create and distribute monthly newsletters
  • Monitor daily engagement across platforms, including comments, DMs and tags
  • Lead in-house video production for social media, including planning, filming, editing and optimizing short-form content such as reels, stories and other platforms
  • Design and produce branded multimedia content such as graphics, motion assets and short videosĀ 
  • Build and grow an audience across social media platforms
  • Collaborate with the team to manage and execute all social media giveawaysĀ 
  • Track and report monthly performance metrics using analytics tools
  • Stay informed on platform updates, algorithm shifts and competitor activity to make informed recommendations for social media strategies
  • Maintain organized content calendars, asset libraries and analytics documentation to ensure continuity and visibility across the team
  • Collaborate with multiple departments to develop social media content
  • Actively contribute to meetings, brainstorming, events and other marketing efforts as needed

Requirements:

  • 1 year of experience coordinating social media content, engagement, and reporting
  • Excellent grammar, spelling and writing skills with strong attention to detail
  • Familiarity with short-form video production and editing
  • Works well with others and contributes to a positive, inclusive team culture

Required Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Preferences:Ā 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or English
  • Experience using content scheduling platforms
  • Basic understanding of SEO best practices as they relate to social content
