Attorney Julian Candilora’s story begins in Louisiana, where he grew up surrounded by the vibrant art, music, and culture of the quaint communities he called home. His upbringing, steeped in connection and service, later shaped his passion for helping others.
While earning his undergraduate degree in sociology at Southeastern Louisiana University, Julian wrestled with the decision of pursuing advanced studies in theory or taking a more hands-on path to make a difference in people’s lives. He ultimately chose the law, inspired by his deep respect for attorneys and the meaningful work they do.
Julian went on to obtain his juris doctor from Tulane University Law School, where his focus on justice solidified. Before starting his legal career, Candilora spent time working in restaurants, rising from washing dishes to becoming a sous chef—an experience that deepened his resilience, while sharpening his humility and reinforcing his strong work ethic. Today, he brings that same discipline and dedication to his legal practice, where he advocates for those who need a strong voice on their side.

Julian served in the Louisiana National Guard as a Signal Systems Support Specialist, reaching the rank of E-5 before being honorably discharged. His service included humanitarian aid missions in Haiti and Louisiana, as well as participating in Operation Deepwater Horizon, where he witnessed firsthand the devastating impact of corporate negligence on coastal communities. These experiences continue to drive his commitment to holding powerful entities accountable.
Julian chose personal injury law because it offers the opportunity to directly help people in their most difficult moments. A personal loss early in life impressed upon Julian how devastating accidents can be, shaping his resolve to fight for injury victims. Now based in Austin, Julian values the friendliness of his community and enjoys connecting with others through his church. Outside the office, he spends time with his wife, their two rambunctious cats, and jittery dog. He enjoys fishing, working out, and cooking, with a current mission to perfect his chicken and andouille gumbo.
