Miller will serve on the Board of Editors through the adjournment of the State Bar of Texas Annual Meeting in 2027.
“I’m honored to join the Texas Bar Journal Board of Editors and contribute to a publication that plays such an important role in informing, educating, and advancing the Texas legal community,” said Cheryl Miller. “I’m grateful for the opportunity to help shape conversations around the future of our profession.”
What is the Texas Bar Journal Board of Editors?
The Texas Bar Journal is the official publication of the State Bar of Texas and serves attorneys across the state with coverage of legal developments, ethics, litigation trends and issues affecting the legal profession.
The Board of Editors helps guide editorial content and supports the publication’s mission of informing and engaging Texas attorneys. In a letter confirming the appointment, State Bar of Texas President Santos Vargas thanked Miller for her “leadership and volunteer efforts” and for her willingness to serve both the public and the legal profession.
“I’m incredibly excited to serve on the Texas Bar Journal Board of Editors and collaborate with such accomplished attorneys to highlight meaningful legal issues, emerging trends, and ideas that strengthen both the practice of law and service to Texans across the state,” said Miller.
Her appointment reflects her ongoing involvement in the legal community and her commitment to professional service beyond the courtroom. Throughout Cheryl’s career, she has worked on behalf of clients while contributing to legal education and advocacy efforts within the profession.
The Carlson Law Firm congratulates Cheryl Miller on this appointment and looks forward to her contributions to the Texas Bar Journal Board of Editors.
