Nursing Home Associate Attorneys – South Austin, TX 78748

The Carlson Law Firm is one of the fastest-growing nursing home law firms in the country. We have an immediate opening for a skilled associate attorney for our South Austin, Texas office to assist with our large, high-value nursing home litigation department.

The successful candidates will be detail-oriented.  They will also have excellent research, writing, organizational, and critical reasoning skills. As a firm that has built its reputation on excellent customer service and skilled legal representation, candidates must be able to excel in those areas.

The ideal candidates will be energetic, motivated, and positive. As an Associate Attorney, you will join our phenomenal South Austin office team to assist with nursing home negligence cases throughout the United States. This is a long-term career opportunity with lots of potential for growth.

Bilingual Legal Assistant/Paralegal

The Carlson Law Firm seeks a highly motivated, dependable, loyal, outgoing, experienced Bilingual Legal Assistant/ Paralegal in our Austin office. The Bilingual Legal Assistant/ Paralegal will assist attorneys with daily duties in the personal injury department handling the following types of cases: dog bites, maritime, on the job injuries, slip and falls, MVAs, etc.

Duties will include, but are not limited to: managing and working pre-litigation and litigation cases; talking to clients, court staff, opposing counsel, experts, medical providers, etc.; managing calendars; drafting demands, discovery requests and responses, pleadings, expert designations, etc.; scheduling depositions, mediations, and trials; attending events as needed.

A paralegal certificate and/or relevant educational background is a plus, but not required. Must have one year of law firm/legal experience, have excellent writing skills, and possess the below traits:

  • Ability to work independently and follow instructions
