[Temple, TX]—On Oct. 18, 2025, The Carlson Law Firm hosted its fifth annual 2025 Temple Trunk-or-Treat, welcoming more than 1,500 attendees for an evening of fall fun, creativity, and community connection.

Through its charitable program, Carlson Cares, the firm went “From Courtroom to Costumes” swapping legal briefs for candy during an evening that transformed its Temple office parking lot into a Halloween adventure featuring over 20 trunks, lively music by DJ Ice, and endless candy. Families enjoyed free games, prizes, Kona Ice, and a costume contest judged by members of the Temple Police Department. The contest’s top prize went to a young attendee dressed as Batman, earning a Vanilla Gift Card and cheers from the crowd.

550 children received a free snack pack in a fun animal-themed drawstring bag, courtesy of the firm’s Parties with a Purpose program, which focuses on creating meaningful, community-centered experiences.

This year’s success was powered by 72 volunteers, including staff and family members from The Carlson Law Firm, as well as participants from the Temple Police Department, Mid Texas Corvette Club, ProCare Injury Specialists, and Vida Salon. Attorneys, staff and volunteers embraced the “From Courtroom to Costumes” spirit, donning creative outfits and decorating trunks that delighted families from Temple and surrounding communities. The Mid Texas Corvette Club added extra excitement by exhibiting a dozen stunning Corvettes, giving attendees a close-up look at the classic cars. All the volunteers’ teamwork underscored how events like Carlson Cares’ Trunk-or-Treat strengthen the community—not only for those attending but for everyone who joins together to make the celebration shine.

Generous support from sponsors, including Health 360, Temple ProCare Injury Specialists, Vida Salon, and the Mid Texas Corvette Club, helped make the event unforgettable.

“Our Trunk-or-Treat has become a cherished tradition for Temple,” said Julie Peschel, partner at The Carlson Law Firm in Temple. “Seeing hundreds of families and volunteers unite to create such a joyful, safe celebration is precisely what Carlson Cares stands for: community, goodwill, and connection.”

The free event was part of Carlson Cares’ Parties With a Purpose initiative, which brings local families together for meaningful, family-friendly fun.

The Carlson Law Firm extends heartfelt thanks to every volunteer, sponsor, and attendee who made this year’s Trunk-or-Treat its biggest and brightest yet. The firm remains committed to caring for Bell County through continued outreach and giving back to the communities that we serve.
