Alycia Cole is an experienced attorney dedicated to improving the lives of those who have been injured through little to no fault of their own. Alycia is based out of The Carlson Law Firm’s Temple, Texas office.

Alycia comes to the Central Texas area after living and practicing law in Colorado and Alaska where her practice focused on criminal, family and estate law. Alycia and her family ultimately decided to leave Alaska when her husband was offered a position in Bell County because she’s a fan of the Texas sunshine; food and friendly people.

Through her experience as a criminal and family attorney, Alycia learned that clients value an attorney who will listen, understand and advocate for them through the worst moments of their lives. When she transitioned to injury law, Alycia knew that her values and experience would be beneficial to her clients who are suffering as a result of traumatic events. Her compassion, desire to understand people’s stories and her investigative skills are what her injury clients find most notable about her representation. When clients choose Alycia, they get an attorney with thousands of hours of courtroom experience who isn’t afraid to stand up on behalf of her client.

Her desire to become an attorney began with her parents who have dedicated their lives to helping others. Alycia’s dad retired as a Battalion Chief with the Colorado Springs Fire Department, and also worked as an arson investigator and expert witness for arson-related injury and property litigation. Her mom was a nurse and a dedicated mother. Growing up, her parents, coupled with her faith, instilled in her the value of helping others and fighting for justice for the underdog. She has spent her life living out Proverbs 31:8-9 by defending those who are judged and by speaking up on behalf of those who cannot speak for themselves.

Alycia graduated from Pfeiffer University with a Bachelor of Arts in Pre-Law, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice. She went on to receive her Juris Doctorate from Regent University School of Law. She is licensed to practice law in Colorado; Alaska; the Federal District of Alaska; Texas (pending) and the Western Federal District of Texas (pending). Currently, Alycia’s practice focuses on personal injury such as auto accidents; 18-wheeler and commercial vehicle collisions, dram shop; wrongful death; dog bites; work-related injuries and premises liability.

Alycia and her PWL teammates were three-time conference champions in NCAA Division II Women’s Lacrosse and she was a four-year Women’s Lacrosse Academic All American. She also played lacrosse in the Czech Republic as part of the USA Athletes International program. After college, she played on the Midlands Women’s Lacrosse team while she served as a lacrosse coach and housemother at Stowe Boarding School in Buckinghamshire, England, UK.

When she’s not in the courtroom, you can find Alycia out near the lake or pool; running; hiking or playing with her daughter. She also enjoys finding new restaurants and traveling with her husband. The family has only been in Bell County since the start of 2022, but they’re happy to call it home.
