Experience on your side

Adam M. Evans is an experienced litigator whose practice focuses on complex mass tort cases, including medical products liability and environmental and toxic tort litigation. Throughout his career, Adam has worked on cases involving emerging mass torts and the scientific and medical issues that often underlie these claims.

Adam is frequently invited to speak at legal and professional conferences across the country, where he educates attorneys and medical professionals on topics related to biomaterials science, medicine, and litigation. His work often deals with translating complex scientific and medical concepts into clear legal strategies that support injured individuals and families.

Adam earned undergraduate degrees in English and philosophy from the University of Missouri–Columbia in 2003 before receiving his law degree from Rutgers University School of Law–Camden in 2008. After law school, he entered private practice representing individuals harmed by dangerous drugs and medical devices.

Over the course of his career, Adam has represented thousands of injured clients in cases involving surgical mesh products, contraceptive drugs, defective defibrillator lead wires, robotic surgery systems, spinal cord stimulators and other medical devices.

Adam regularly serves in leadership roles in large-scale, nationwide litigation. His experience includes serving as plaintiffs’ co-lead counsel in the Bard Implanted Port Catheter Products Liability Litigation, as a member of the plaintiffs’ executive committee in the Atrium Medical Corp. C-Qur Mesh multidistrict litigation, and in leadership roles in the Gilead Tenofovir coordinated proceedings in California.

He also serves as co-chair of the Hernia Mesh Litigation Group and the Implanted Port Catheter Litigation Group for the American Association for Justice and as chair of the Kansas Trial Lawyers Association Mass Tort Section.

Beyond his litigation practice, Adam is committed to community service. He volunteers legal services to underserved individuals through the Volunteer Attorney Project with Legal Aid of Western Missouri and through Military Matters, a veterans’ pro bono legal clinic operated by the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association (KCMBA).
