Texas Jury Awards $61M in Products Liability Case Against Honda After Car Wreck |

Langdon D. Southworth is a personal injury attorney dedicated to serving and fighting for his clients during some of the most difficult times in their lives. Langdon prides himself on being able to help his clients by keeping their best interests in mind, protecting their rights, and advocating on their behalf to maximize their recovery from their injuries and losses.

Langdon primarily focuses on cases such as car accidents, product liability, and work injury. Langdon is equipped to help his clients navigate the legal system from his work experience before becoming an attorney, his education, and his experience throughout his 12 years of being an attorney.
Prior to working at The Carlson Law Firm, Langdon practiced law in California doing worker’s compensation defense, representing employers and insurance carriers. Because of his work as an attorney on both the insurance defense side and the plaintiff’s side, Langdon has a better understanding of both sides and is equipped to explain the litigation process from the start of the process through the settlement of judgment in terms that non-attorney clients are able to understand.
Growing up, Langdon was fascinated by rules, laws, and their application to every aspect of life. Throughout grade school, Langdon grew an interest in analyzing rules and laws with the intention of understanding them to position himself to protect his and others’ rights and avoid having these rights taken away, limited, or ignored.
Langdon takes pride in doing his job due to his honesty, integrity, and strong work ethic to be an example to society that there are still individuals in this profession that carry weight to those words. He loves being able to help people understand thoroughly what the process of negotiation entails. Langdon enjoys collaborating with multiple parties and receiving the end result, which often exceeds the client’s expectations.
When he isn’t practicing law, Langdon is an active community member, dedicating his time and heart through service at his local church, community events, and active volunteer at his boys’ elementary school. His weekends are typically spent with his four boys playing in youth soccer leagues, where over the years, he has volunteered many times as a coach, assistant coach, and regional referee. He loves outdoor sports, such as dirt bikes, snowboarding, and flag football.
