Texas Jury Awards $61M in Products Liability Case Against Honda After Car Wreck |

Max Caruso is an insightful personal injury trial attorney with experience in Texas and the United States Marine Corps. His practice is based out of South Austin. Max focuses his practice on motor vehicle accidents, slip-and-fall injuries, dog bites, product liability, and wrongful death.

Max always sought a fulfilling career that involved helping other people. Driven by a mission to make a meaningful impact, he pursued the legal profession at the University of North Texas at Dallas. While in law school, Max was a clerk for The Carlson Law Firm and transitioned to a full-time position after graduating.
Max took a break from his civil practice to serve in the United States Marine Corps, where he became commissioned as a Judge Advocate officer.
Diligent in his commitment to helping others seek justice, Max finds working with clients and negotiating favorable outcomes on their behalf among the most rewarding aspects of being a lawyer. Max is licensed to practice in Texas and focuses his practice on personal injury cases including motor vehicle accidents, slip-and-fall injuries, dog bites, product liability, and wrongful death. One of Max’s most notable cases to date was his very first trial, which he helped argue against the Texas Department of Transportation. The jury returned a verdict of over $1.5 million for Max’s clients.
Attorney Max Caruso values the legal profession as a powerful way to positively impact society, ensuring that those who cannot advocate for themselves receive the support they need. Drawn to the thought-provoking complexity of the law, Max finds satisfaction in applying his critical thinking, problem-solving, and continuous learning to advocate for others and seek a fair outcome. This commitment reflects his choice to pursue a legal career dedicated to making a meaningful difference in people’s lives.
Max enjoys nature—whether caring for the Corpus Christi beaches he grew up on or embarking on an annual trip to the beautiful trails of Colorado. He also participated in the 2017 Hurricane Harvey relief efforts in Port Aransas and Rockport. In his spare time, Max embraces the mental and physical resilience he cultivates through weightlifting.
