Nathan “Nate” Kennedy is a seasoned trial lawyer in The Carlson Law Firm’s South Austin location. He works tirelessly to seek justice for injured people seriously hurt or killed by the negligent acts of careless corporations. Nate is a partner with his firm and is licensed to practice in Texas and Colorado.

Nate graduated from the University of Ohio, receiving his Bachelor of Business Administration and Juris Doctor. Shortly after graduation, he entered the U.S. Army, where he proudly served our country.
To date, Nate has litigated 25 jury trials to verdict in state and federal courts.
In the last 10 years alone, Nate has recovered over $50 million in trial verdicts, arbitration awards and settlements for his clients.
When he’s not hard at work representing his clients, Nate enjoys barbecue. He’s known for giving excellent barbecue restaurant recommendations, and once appeared on the Travel Channel’s Diva Q.
As a U.S. Army combat veteran and Bronze Star recipient, Nate is no stranger to leadership in conflict. In 2009, he tried and won his first jury trial in Baghdad, Iraq as lead prosecutor for the 1st Cavalry Division. Following an engagement with the enemy in Sadr City while assigned to the 82nd Airborne Division, Nate was also awarded the Combat Action Badge.

$1,150,000 settlement for spine injuries sustained in a collision caused by the driver of a company van.
$950,000 settlement for spine injuries caused by an 18-wheeler losing control in a construction zone on Interstate 35.
