Cheryl Miller is a Texas Board Certified Attorney in Family Law who earned her Juris Doctor from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, a Masters in Educational Leadership from Dallas Baptist University and a Bachelors of Science from Texas State University.

Cheryl was named partner at The Carlson Law Firm in 2024, received the Ruth Bader Ginsburg “I Dissent” Award by the Women Lawyers of Williamson County Bar Association and has been listed as one of Austin Monthly’s Top Attorneys since 2020.
Family law requires a client-first approach because courtroom decisions impact the family members’ day-to-day life. Cheryl has built her reputation as a client advocate in family law because life-altering events such as a divorce or child custody are difficult to navigate. As one of the few attorneys who handle family law court appeals, she achieves definitive outcomes due to her legal experience in managing high conflict civil litigation.
She currently serves as President of the Williamson County Bar Association and a Director with the Round Rock ISD Partners in Education Foundation
