The Carlson Law Firm recently welcomed local families to its Laredo office for a drive-through Día del Niño celebration, bringing together children and community collaborators for an afternoon centered on community and connection.
Held on April 30, the Laredo Día del Niño event was part of the firm’s ongoing Carlson Cares initiative, which focuses on strengthening relationships with the communities it serves across Texas.
Supporting Families Through Laredo Día del Niño Event
During the event, the team members and volunteers distributed 186 snack packs to families, along with items such as teddy bears, kites and fidget toys. These efforts were designed to provide both immediate resources and a positive experience for children and their families.
Community Involvement That Made the Event Possible
The success of the event was supported by local businesses who contributed their time and resources.
- Ozo Campos helped create a memorable experience for children by bringing beloved characters like Mario, Luigi, and Princess Peach for attendees to meet and interact with.
- South Texas Food Bank also played a key role by assisting with snack pack distribution and sharing information about available food assistance programs in the Laredo area.
These local connections reflect a shared commitment to supporting families and increasing access to local resources.
