Families across Austin came together on March 28 for a festive and family-focused afternoon at The Carlson Law Firm’s Carlson Cares Car-Hop Easter Stop. The drive-thru event, held at the firm’s North Austin office, is designed to safely deliver springtime fun to local children.
The 2026 event welcomed a steady line of vehicles as families participated in a drive-thru Easter experience filled with surprises, smiles and community connection.
“This is a great way to not only meet our neighborhoods and our friends but also give back to our community,” said William G. “Bill” Rossick, Partner at The Carlson Law Firm.
In total, 320 Easter bags were distributed, helping to make sure hundreds of children were able to take part in the celebration.

A Drive-Thru Experience Full of Smiles
Designed with accessibility and convenience in mind, the Car-Hop Easter Stop allowed families to enjoy the event without leaving their vehicles. As cars moved through the line, children received:
- Take-home snack bags
- Fun items and fidget toys
- Easter baskets filled with eggs and surprises
- A chance to wave and interact with the Easter Bunny
“It was such a great time being able to see even more people coming and getting to see the happiness and the joy on all these kids’ faces,” said Amanda Lequerique, Legal Support Manager at The Carlson Law Firm.
The drive-thru format created a safe and efficient way for families to participate, while still still bringing the excitement and joy of a traditional Easter celebration.

This marked the second year The Carlson Law Firm hosted the Car-Hop Easter Stop in Austin. After a strong turnout the year before, the firm expanded the event to serve even more families in 2026.
The result was a long line of cars stretching through the neighborhood, which was clear evidence of the community’s enthusiasm and the event’s growing impact. Events like these are about creating opportunities for families to gather and build lasting memories.
