KILLEEN, Texas – Eighteen attorneys at The Carlson Law Firm have been recognized by Super Lawyers in 2026, including four attorneys selected to the Super Lawyers list and 14 selected to the Rising Stars list.
Managing Partner Craig Carlson leads this year’s honorees with his 10th Super Lawyers selection, marking a decade of recognition from the rating service. Carlson is joined on the 2026 Super Lawyers list by Nathan Kennedy, Jaime Lynn and David Buckley.

Rising Stars recognizes eligible attorneys who are either 40 years old or younger or have been in practice for 10 years or less. Every year, no more than 2.5% of attorneys in each state are selected to the Rising Stars list.
The Rising Stars list recognizes eligible attorneys who have demonstrated professional achievement and earned recognition within the legal community.
How Are Super Lawyers Selected?
Super Lawyers uses a multi-phase selection process designed to identify attorneys who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The process combines:
- Peer nominations
- Peer evaluations
- Independent research
- Evaluation across 12 indicators of professional achievement and peer recognition
Selections are made annually on a state-by-state basis. No more than 5% of attorneys in each state are selected to the Super Lawyers list, while no more than 2.5% are selected to Rising Stars.
The primary difference between the lists is eligibility. Rising Stars candidates must be 40 years old or younger or have practiced law for 10 years or less. Those restrictions do not apply to the Super Lawyers list.
