TEMPLE, Texas – More than 90 community members joined The Carlson Law Firm at its Temple office on Sept. 18 for the firm’s largest Hispanic Heritage Month celebration yet.
The event brought families, staff and local businesses together to celebrate Hispanic culture, food and community. Members of the firm’s Temple office welcomed guests and passed out agua frescas to attendees throughout the celebration.
Antojitos Mexicanos Don Chuy served birria, asada and chicken tacos with rice and beans, along with agua fresca. JohnJohn with Artist 2 Artist Showcase also attended and captured photos throughout the celebration.
“Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month gives us an opportunity to recognize the culture and traditions that have shaped so many families in our community,” said Alejandro Lopez, attorney at The Carlson Law Firm. “Seeing almost 100 people come together at our Temple office meant a lot for this year’s celebration.”
Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month in Temple
Observed annually from Sept. 15 through Oct. 15, Hispanic Heritage Month recognizes the histories, cultures and contributions of Hispanic and Latino Americans. At The Carlson Law Firm’s Temple office, the celebration provided an opportunity to recognize that heritage while bringing together more than 90 people from the community.
This year’s turnout made the event the firm’s largest Hispanic Heritage Month celebration to date. Firm staff spent time visiting with attendees and passing out agua frescas as guests enjoyed the festivities.

Food and Community at the Temple Office
Food was a highlight of the celebration, with Antojitos Mexicanos Don Chuy serving birria, asada and chicken tacos with rice and beans, along with agua fresca. The food truck helped add to the festivities while giving attendees a chance to enjoy a meal together at the Temple office.
JohnJohn with Artist 2 Artist Showcase also joined the celebration, capturing moments throughout the event that showed community members coming together to celebrate Hispanic heritage and diversity.
