BRYAN, Texas – The Carlson Law Firm is proud to announce that Kathryn L. Knotts, a partner and personal injury attorney in the firm's Bryan office, has been accepted into the Texas Bar College in October 2026.
The recognition reflects Knotts' commitment to continuing legal education, professional development and providing knowledgeable legal representation to injured Texans.
What Is the Texas Bar College?
The Texas Bar College is a professional organization that recognizes Texas attorneys who demonstrate a commitment to maintaining and improving their legal knowledge through continuing legal education.
Membership requires attorneys to complete much more continuing legal education than the minimum required to maintain their law licenses. To qualify for initial membership, attorneys must complete either 80 hours of accredited continuing legal education within three calendar years or 45 hours within one calendar year.
Both pathways require at least three hours of legal ethics or professional responsibility education. Members must also meet additional continuing education requirements each year to maintain their membership.
“I’ve always believed that you never stop learning in this profession, so being accepted into the Texas Bar College means a lot to me,” said Knotts. “Every client comes to us with a different situation, and I want to make sure I’m doing everything I can to give them the representation they deserve.”
