KILLEEN, Texas – The Carlson Law Firm invites community members to help save lives by donating blood from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Aug. 21 during its upcoming community blood drive in the firm’s parking lot at 100 E. Central Texas Expressway.
A mobile unit from Baylor Scott & White Blood Center will be stationed in the parking lot. Walk-ins are welcome. Those ready to donate can schedule an appointment through the Baylor Scott & White Blood Center donor portal.
Every blood donation has the potential to make a lifesaving difference for patients across Central Texas. Whether you are a first-time donor or a regular, your participation can help patients in need across Central Texas.

Before You Donate
Donors will need to bring a valid photo ID. To help make your donation a success, donors are encouraged to:
- Stay well hydrated before arriving.
- Eat healthy meals that involve iron-rich foods in the days leading up to your donation.
Upon arrival, donors should check in at the corner conference room before proceeding to the mobile donation unit at their scheduled appointment time. If the mobile unit reaches capacity, the conference room will also serve as a waiting area for donors.
Ready to donate? Schedule your appointment through the Baylor Scott & White Blood Center donor portal. Those who are unable to donate can still make an impact by sharing the event with friends, family members and coworkers who may be eligible to give blood.
