Three Carlson Law Firm Attorneys Named Super Lawyer Rising Stars

The Carlson Law Firm is pleased to announce that three of our attorneys have been named as Texas Super Lawyers Rising Stars of 2022. Considering that no more than 2.5% of lawyers in a state are named to the Rising Stars list, this is a distinguished achievement. 

To be eligible for the rising star inclusion means that these lawyers are either 40 years old or younger or been in practice for 10 years or less. 

A Rising Star is nominated by a peer or identified by the Super Lawyers’ research department during the research process. Candidates are selected based on several indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement. These achievements can include any combination of the following:

These three Carlson Law Firm attorneys have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement on the Rising Stars list:  

Savannah Stroud, Partner, is a family law lawyer who has helped families through some of the more difficult moments in their lives. In addition, she represents clients in need of legal representation in criminal matters. Savannah has been recognized as the Bell County Young Lawyer of the Year and has been named a Rising Star by Super Lawyers before. This is Savannah’s fourth year as a Rising Star.

Nicholas Merz, Associate, is a personal injury lawyer in our North Austin location. Nick has secured some of the top verdicts in the state including a $19 million verdict for a victim sexually assaulted in a massage parlor. This is his first year as a Super Lawyer Rising Star. 

Jacob Mancha, Associate, is a personal injury lawyer in our North Austin location. Jacob has secured some of the top verdicts in the state including a $4 million verdict after an assault on an elderly woman. Further, Jacob has been named a top attorney in Austin. This is his second year named a Super Lawyer Rising Star.
