WACO, Texas – The Carlson Law Firm welcomed an estimated 950 community members to its annual Waco Backpack Giveaway on July 18, providing local students with backpacks and school supplies as they prepared for the new school year.
Hosted at the firm's Waco office through its Carlson Cares initiative, the free event provided brand-new backpacks and school supplies to students while supplies lasted. Families gathered for a morning focused on back-to-school preparation, community connection and family-friendly activities.
Nearly 950 attendees demonstrated the Waco community's support for helping local students start the school year with the supplies they need to succeed.

Helping Waco Students Prepare for School
Families gathered Saturday morning to receive backpacks and school supplies while enjoying activities and connecting with their community. The event brought together students, parents and local businesses in support of Waco families as they prepared for the upcoming school year.

For Carlson Cares, the annual giveaway is about more than distributing backpacks. It helps students begin the school year prepared while easing some of the financial burden that often comes with back-to-school shopping.
