WICHITA FALLS, Texas – The Carlson Law Firm welcomed 418 community members to its annual Wichita Falls Backpack Giveaway on July 25, helping local students prepare for the upcoming school year by distributing 250 backpacks filled with school supplies.
Hosted through the firm’s Carlson Cares initiative, the free event brought together families, local businesses and community organizations for a morning of connection and back-to-school preparation.
Backpacks were distributed while supplies lasted, helping students begin the school year with the tools they need to succeed. The turnout reflected the Wichita Falls community's commitment to supporting local students and families.

Helping Wichita Falls Students Prepare for School
Families gathered Saturday morning at the firm’s Wichita Falls office to receive backpacks and school supplies while enjoying activities and connecting with members of the community. The event brought together families, businesses and community organizations to help local students begin the school year prepared.
For Carlson Cares, the annual giveaway is about more than providing free backpacks. The event helps students begin the school year with confidence while easing some of the financial burden many families experience during the back-to-school season.
The Wichita Falls Backpack Giveaway welcomed 418 attendees and distributed 250 backpacks as part of Carlson Cares' 2026 backpack campaign, which provides backpacks to students in communities across Texas.
