WICHITA FALLS, Texas – The Carlson Law Firm will host a community blood drive from 2 to 5 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 20. at its Wichita Falls office, 2909 Garnett Ave., giving residents an opportunity to donate blood ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday.
Held in collaboration with Our Blood Institute, the blood drive will welcome walk-ins and members of the public. Those who donate blood will receive a jumbo cooler bag and be entered into a drawing for a Thanksgiving meal basket, complete with holiday dinner essentials and a $30 gift card toward a turkey or ham.
The event, themed “Give Thanks, Give Blood,” encourages Wichita Falls residents to make a meaningful difference during a season of gratitude and giving.
“We frequently work with people dealing with the aftermath of car accidents, many of whom have suffered serious injuries and need a blood transfusion” said Roger Jennings, legal support manager at The Carlson Law Firm. “Hosting a blood drive is another way we can help people beyond the legal work we do.”
Give Thanks, Give Blood This Thanksgiving Season
Blood donations help hospitals care for patients undergoing surgery, recovering from injuries and facing other medical emergencies. The need for blood donations continues throughout the year, including during the holiday season.
By hosting the blood drive at its Wichita Falls office, The Carlson Law Firm hopes to provide a convenient opportunity for community members to donate while supporting the work of Our Blood Institute.

- One pie
- One $30 gift card toward the purchase of a turkey or ham
Individuals who donate blood during the event will be entered into the Thanksgiving basket drawing. Donors will also receive a jumbo cooler bag as a token of appreciation.
