Killeen Dog Attack Injures Three on Cody Poe Road

Another dog attack accident in Killeen left multiple children with puncture wounds after they were attacked by multiple pit bulls on Monday evening, officials revealed.

The names of the children were not yet released but officials said they were 12 and 11-years-old. A 26-year-old was also injured in the Central Texas dog bite incident on Cody Poe Road near Armadillo Road in Killeen, Texas.

According to a report published by KWTX News, the 26-year-old attempted to help the children when they were attacked by the dogs. Officials were forced to shoot at the dogs in order to help the three victims of the dog attack.

All three victims were transported to local hospitals for the treatment of their injuries.

One of the dogs was transferred to Killeen Animal Control. Two of the dangerous pit bulls ran from the scene of the attack when the shots were fired.

All of the victims of the animal attack were recently listed in stable condition. Officials are still looking for the pit bulls that fled the scene.
