One Injured in College Station Car Accident

One person was injured in a car accident in College Station this afternoon at the intersection of Holloman Drive and Texas Avenue, officials on the scene said.

According to authorities, the accident was caused when the driver of an Infinity failed to yield right of way while making a left turn on an unprotected green light. A Chevy Trailblazer was also involved in the accident and also had a green light.

While the driver of the Infinity did not sustain injury in the auto accident, the driver of the Chevy was transported to the hospital via ambulance. The extent of the injuries endured by the injured driver is unknown.
