Pedestrian Killed in San Antonio VIA Bus Accident

A VIA bus accident in San Antonio left one pedestrian dead on Tuesday morning, police said. According to the driver of the bus, she pulled the us to the side after feeling a bump in the roadway.

After investigating what the obstacle might have been, the bus driver told police that she discovered a man beneath of the VIA bus. Emergency crews were called to the scene of the pedestrian accident in San Antonio. Emergency officials attempted to revive the man but were unsuccessful.

Although the pedestrian has not yet been identified by officials, police said he was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.

At the time of the bus-pedestrian accident, the bus driver was attempting to turn on San Saba Street.

Nine passengers were on board the VIA bus at the time of the pedestrian death. None of those passengers were, reportedly, injured as a result of the accident.
