Rollover accidents are some of the most deadly kinds of accidents, accounting for as many as 33% of auto accident fatalities, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. Because of the high center of gravity, SUV’s in particular, can pose a specific risk of overturning. Additionally, defective tires, glass, roof pillars and other auto equipment are sometimes tied to injuries and death endured because of the vehicle’s failure to protect occupants and keep them within the vehicle as it overturns.
